Klaus Rosenfeld started his professional career as a trainee banker at the Dresdner Bank. In 2001, Mr. Rosenfeld became Chief Representative and Deputy Head of Finance and Controlling of Dresdner Bank. A year later, he was appointed Member of the Board of Managing Directors, with responsibility for Finance & Controlling, Compliance, and Corporate Investments. In March 2009, Klaus Rosenfeld joined the Schaeffler Group as Chief Financial Officer where he restructured the Group’s corporate and capital structure by a number of complex transactions. In June 2014, he was appointed CEO of Schaeffler AG, which is a position he holds until today. Schaeffler AG went public during the time of Mr. Rosenfeld’s leadership, in 2015.
Mr. Rosenfeld studied business administration and economics at the University of Muenster.
